生醫搜索引擎米德佳提供中翻英學術論文翻譯，含英文編修。GoPubMed利用Gene Ontology（GO，基因本體）理論來對PubMed資料庫進行標籤及搜尋。GO是一項生物資訊專案（請參考Gene Ontology website），目的是統整生物領域間對基因和基因產物的用語，改善學術溝通、資訊分享等問題。GO包含三個部份：Cellular component—細胞的組成「零件」和細胞外環境Molecular function­—基因產物的分子功能，例如結合或催化Biological process—生物體內與特定生物功能相關的分子過程GoPubMed使用GO原則分類各文獻的摘要，GO分類標籤並顯示於所有搜出的文獻上，讓使用者能依照分類快速掃過各摘要，大大減少找到想要的資訊的時間。簡單舉個例子：下圖為GoPubMed的搜尋結果，可以看到列出來的摘要裡的專有名詞都有附加的資訊，只要將滑鼠移到各單字上，便會跳出紅色箭頭指著的新對話框，裡面有該單字的相關資訊或連結。這項省時省力的附加功能，讓使用者能迅速了解該摘要內容和研究方向。
