Studying how the body works helps us to comprehend the many processes that maintain health and find better treatment for diseases. We can make a difference to future populations by improving our knowledge of health and disease. Neurophysiology is particularly interesting; with the brain shaping our thoughts, hopes and imagination, it represents a challenging area in biology. Its intricate nature controls the processes that keep us alive. The abrupt loss of intellectual skills suffered recently by a close relative, due to the neurodegenerative illness Multi-Infarct Dementia, has encouraged me to learn about the physiological changes associated with such disorders. My A levels complement my choice of degree. Biology enables me to appreciate the integration of the body, learning at both a molecular level and about the specific roles of organs. The substantial effect small differences in blood vessels’ structure have upon the body is extraordinary, and I look forward to learning about the circulatory system. The treatment of disease relies on the application of knowledge in this area; learning about the causes and symptoms of respiratory diseases like tuberculosis and emphysema has heightened my desire to discover more. Engaging in a genetics workshop at the University of Exeter was an invaluable introduction to degree-level laboratory techniques including DNA extraction and amplification, confirming my aspiration to study a biological science. Similarly, I benefited from learning about diagnostic equipment including X-ray generators, CT and Ultrasound scanners at Dorset County Hospital. In Psychology, theories and research studies allow me to study the brain and nervous system in relation to behaviour. Learning about the psychological impact on the body in areas such as the stress response and biological rhythms offers a different perspective on biological topics. The influence of the brain on both our psychological and physiological health has become evident, for example, the immune system can be manipulated by hormonal imbalances instigated by the brain. At the University of Bristol I talked to experimental Psychology researchers who demonstrated the use of electroencephalography and showed us their research into facial processing and children’s understanding of eyes.I have shown the ability to manipulate precise and intricate ideas and construct logical arguments in Mathematics. The challenges posed require flexibility and a confident approach. Persevering with a problem and using logic to obtain a correct answer is rewarding. I have learnt about many statistical techniques that are proving useful in my other subjects including Chi-squared and hypothesis testing. Participating in an Enrichment Programme at the University of Bristol involved learning about the application of Maths in weather-forecasting and whether true randomness exists.Working at Clarks has given me an insight into the use of motivational techniques and training has taught me about taking responsibility, working independently and communicating effectively. I delivered Phonological Awareness Training at a junior school requiring commitment. My Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award demanded a range of practical and fundamental life skills which were developed further by trampolining and horse riding. The tenacity and physical demands required in these disciplines gives me satisfaction while the unpredictable nature of the horse has shown me that there is always more to learn. Working towards Grade 8 clarinet and learning the saxophone has led me to play in the Dorset Youth Wind Orchestra, performing in memorable concerts at the Royal Albert Hall.My visit to Dorset County Hospital and enthusiasm for the broad scientific interest of the human body drives my desire to make a difference to people’s lives and pursue a career in a medical science-related profession.

My passion for mathematics is another factor in my choice of physics as a degree subject. I find complex problems in both physics and mathematics very challenging, and this enables me to embrace physics as more than simply a major or a degree, but as a personal passionate.Due to my school’s offer of Core mathematics only in the AS and A2 level I am not able to study further pure maths in school, and therefore I’m self studying it at home. This would allow me to grasp the mathematical concepts in topics like the standard model which inspire me and motivate me to work harder; hence I approach the difficult most challenging questions with enthusiasm and an open mind.I participated in extra activities where I did practicals like measuring radioactivity, & power generation. This has developed into a much deeper, scientific interest in the subject. Studying Physics at GCSE and A-Level, along with Chemistry and Mathematics, has helped me further develop my interest. I have enjoyed doing my ISAs in these subjects, as these have allowed me to approach scientific problems in a practical way- a valuable skill for studying Science at undergraduate level. During my Physics A-Level, I enjoyed learning about nuclear and particle physics, and concepts of special relativity such as time dilation and length contraction. This is because these are things fundamental to our existence, the topics fascinate me and I have a natural aptitude for mathematics. My A-Levels have further developed these numeracy skills, which is useful in a Physics degree. Not only do areas of stellar dynamics and galaxies interest me, but also cosmology and quantum mechanics, which are more challenging and help us to understand our universe. I keep up-to-date with astronomy news through the magazine “All About Space". Books such as “A Brief History of Time" and “The Cosmic Tourist" have inspired me to pursue studies in Astronomy. As a member of the Liverpool Astronomical Society I attend regular meetings, academic talks and astronomy nights at Pex Hill Observatory who keep me informed of astronomical events via emails and newsletters. Becoming a member of this society has been a fantastic opportunity for me, and it helps increase my understanding of all topics covered by physics and astronomy. I completed work experience in the Biology department of the University of Liverpool in July 2013. Here I was able to gain valuable lab experience and use scientific judgement in my work. I encountered research scientists and was able to consult them about what scientific research entailed. During Year 12, I acted as an assistant teacher in a Year 7 Chemistry class, which gave me experience of working in a Science classroom. Both of these placements allowed me to develop my problem-solving and teamwork skills. I have also completed voluntary and charity work for organisations such as Ykids and Macmillan, including organising a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan.During Year 12, I completed the Scholars Scheme at the University of Liverpool. As part of this I was mentored by a university academic and completed an academic essay titled “The Effects on Life on Earth of a Gamma Ray Burst". I passed this essay with fantastic marks and it also provided me with key skills involved in university essay writing, including referencing and how to avoid plagiarism. I have had 100% attendance and punctuality throughout my entire time in secondary school, which shows true commitment. As form captain one of my main duties was attending student council meetings, communicating the ideas of my peers to other members of the school. This allowed me to develop my communication skills, listen to the points of others and develop my own opinions.I enjoy performing with the school orchestra and choirs, which allows me to work as part of a team and express myself creatively. I keep a good balance between my leisure activities and studies, allowing me to relax and not become too stressed. I also enjoy amateur astronomy. The first time I saw the planets and a deep-sky object (the Pleiades) will always be special to me. I would like my degree to lead to a career in Astrophysics research, as it would keep me abreast of new discoveries in Physics and Astronomy, and it would be a great opportunity for me. I may also consider doing a PGCE to become a Science teacher. I would like to do this as I would enjoy passing on my wisdom to future generations, especially girls, as I believe there should be more women in physics and engineering. The university that accepts me would be gaining a conscientious, hard-working student who is enthusiastic about her subject.天文物理學英文自傳編修︰英文編修中翻英履歷表翻譯︰英文履歷表

What is the history of the Universe? What is quantum entanglement? What is the string theory? I am intrigued by the implication of Quantum theory and the elegant significance of Relativity theory. For me, Physics is the key to the survival of the human race which makes me want to immerse myself in this discipline.Physics requires the use of analytical techniques to construct magnificent theories that guide complex natural phenomena which also uncover hidden secrets of nature. This is reflected in the study of physical properties in four dimensions, where a gentle touch of mathematical techniques and fundamental physical laws allow me to prove equations defining special relativity which Einstein used to unlock the mass-energy equivalence. My desire to explore Nature’s true identity has led me to read the works of Stephen Hawking and Prof. Susskind. From these, I have realised how the Uncertainty Principle brings an element of unpredictability into science, which adds mysterious new dimensions to Physics. Interactions among Fermions and Baryons with the exchange of Bosons as well as the prediction of the existence of Higgs Boson intrigue me. These have helped to increase my knowledge regarding force and Schrodinger equation. My enthusiasm for mathematical physics has led me to formulate an equation that equates time-location. In the past I have designed a free energy generator, and a feasible past event viewer, which enabled me to understand the arrow of time in depth.Combining the practical and analytical techniques I have gained from my A-level courses has given me a sound scientific background. I received the best young mathematician award which was given to me by my local government chairman. To solidify my mathematical ability, I have decided to take six units of Further Maths this year and I also study “Engineering Maths" by K.A Stroud which acts as an invaluable extension to my mathematical experience. The beauty of physics, not just as a theoretical discipline but with its various applications, grabbed my attention after shadowing a Professor at the Missouri State University. He shared with me some of his elegant abstract ideas using clues from Nature. This encouraged me to look for abstract clues to make new discoveries. I have developed good communication and team working skills as an A-level science and maths tutor and through my contribution towards building an electric racing car for the Greenpower competition. My responsibilities include designing an effective drive system, while supervising other aspects of the project. I believe the skills I have gained have prepared me for university life.In addition to studying for my A-levels, I am an official college advocate. I collate quantitative and qualitative data, analyse, and make presentations that highlight areas for improvement for the college management. Football and chess are among my favourite activities where I practise and develop my strategic skills. The works of Beethoven have motivated me to play the piano. I also enjoy dancing as well as imaginative drawing. On completion of my degree, I plan to go into research and university lecturing. My passion for the application of physics from abstract and conceptual ideas, along with my attitude toward learning and researching into underlying theories of nature will enable me to achieve these goals. I believe I possess the essential skills, capacity and motivation to tackle the academic challenges that lie ahead.物理學與數學英文自傳編修︰英文編修

攝影學英文自傳 PHOTOGRAPHY AUTOBIOGRAPHY EXAMPLE米德佳提供翻譯服務,英文自傳,英文履歷表,英文求職文件,學術論文修改及文件編修等服務。 I dream about photography… Memories of gazing through a finger marked window pane, camera at my side, the train rocking, objects passing, disparate perspectives through the lens. I think about the diverse ways in which photographs are interpreted. For me photography is a spiritual act, an inner conviction and a desire to abstract essence beyond the material world. I’m interested in something which is built up from within, rather than just a superficial image. In stirring up excitement in me that connects with the innocence of childhood, spent just drawing, designing and creating, simply for the love of it. My first camera, a Polaroid led to hours hunting bugs, flowers and dolls. This progressed to composing subjects through angle and lighting, learning from experience, constantly expressing myself visually. I am continuously inspired by the smallest and simplest of objects, I love playing around with light to create different images and moods. I like how a photograph, unlike the other visual arts, is eternally bound to reality in a more profound way. I am fascinated with the concept of the real, and how people perceive objects and reality. This has been intensified through my A-level subject choices. Photographs are ubiquitous, indeed they are so woven into the fabric of everyday life that many people scarcely give them a second thought. I am aware that it is increasingly difficult to define ‘reality’ in photography, now that we are living in a digital age.–Despite my passion for photography I initially saw it best to pursue a science-based course, seeing photography simply as a hobby. Being the eldest in a family of four I was influenced that way. However after much reflection on what I want out of life, I changed my direction to studying a subject that really matters to me. When I came back into education to study my A-levels I began working with a wide selection of people from different backgrounds, I found this move highly liberating and was able to adjust quickly both socially and educationally. My choices of A-level subjects were selected so that they would give me a broad overview of life, communication and culture. I feel this has broadened my understanding of photography further. Studying Photography at A-level has enabled me to develop an independent and self-motivated practice. I have enjoyed discovering the many genres of photography, specifically landscape, still life and documentary photography. I find the work of photographers old and new highly inspirational. I am interested in the works of photographers ranging Simon Norfolk, Hyung Jeun Park and Sze Tsung Leong. I am drawn to these photographers as my most recent A-level project has involved looking at the effect of man on nature, our imprint, and how the world has adapted to fit our need for technology.–Through my Media Studies A-level I have been able to expand my analytical skills. I enjoyed learning about the sales and marketing side of the media industry in relation to photography. Pursuing Philosophy and Ethics at A-level has made me question my assumptions about how people think and act, it has left me able to think clearly, reason logically and argue with clarity and conviction. I have learnt many new theories and concepts that have further improved my understanding of cultures and history. I hope during a degree course in photography I will be able to bring some of these concepts into my work.- 7月 31 週五 201509:39

lost translations. However, within this mass of worldwide confusion, pictures and photography
can still be understood universally. Maybe it’s a cliched point to prove, but personally I
think this underlines the concept that a picture can (with no specified language) speak a
thousand words to a thousand different people. I find this idea of global understanding deeply
fascinating and it is one reason among many which has propelled me towards the study and
creation of photography and the visual arts. From a young age I have had an interest in pictures and drawing, which developed, as I got
older into an interest in textiles and a love of fashion. From this I decided to do an
introductory course at The London College of Fashion, and it was there that my idea to pursue
a career in photography and art direction first occurred. I found that although I was
interested in the logistics and business side of the fashion industry it was the compositions,
vibrant images and individuality of the advertising campaigns that truly inspired me. Studying
photography at A-level I have learnt the importance of individual style and personal reading;
seeing this put into practice in magazines and adverts led me to decide that with the aid of
higher education I wanted to go on and work with photography and advertising.I have always had a flair for business, completing GCSE, AS and A level exams with a
high-grade average. I have learnt the importance of finances and budget restraints, which I
think is a very valuable lesson to learn. By studying English Language I have been able to
improve my writing skills and expand my knowledge of the way in which words can be used to
influence and explain. I have found both these subjects to have aided me with various
independent projects and have increased my understanding and ability to perform at a high
level in different areas. When I joined The Henley College I began working and learning with a
wide range of different people from different backgrounds, it was a large change from the
structured life of an all girls grammar school. However, I found moving to this environment
and a new way of education highly liberating, I was able to adjust very quickly, both socially
and to the educational practices. From this experience I learnt to be very open to new
opportunities and places, which has helped me with the projects and jobs I have done. There are a large range of skills required when working in commercial photography- an example
of these being networking and perseverance. In order to gain a wider perspective into the
challenges of this as a career, as well as my subject coursework, I have done freelance work
on a number of occasions including photographing private events and parties. I found these
jobs to be more subjective as I had to work to a very specific brief with tight deadlines; the
results of such experiences I have found to be highly positive. I have learnt to compromise
with difficult clients and have had one of my photographs printed in BCFA member directory as
part of an advertising campaign. However, the biggest learning curve I experienced was when
observing work at a professional studio it was here I witnessed the patience and communication
skills needed to become a successful art director. I think by working with lens-based media at
a degree level I will be further towards gaining the attributes needed for this area of work.
From university I hope to go on to and work within the photography and creative advertising
industry. I know the skills necessary are both creatively and academically challenging, but
due to my ambition, social ability and general love of photography, I think it is definitely
something I could excel at, given the opportunity.

英文自傳︰哲學與政治學 PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICS
哲學與政治學英文自傳範例 PHILOSOPHY AND POLITICS AUTOBIOGRAPHY EXAMPLE米德佳提供翻譯服務,英文自傳,英文履歷表,英文求職文件,學術論文修改及文件編修等服務。Philosophy is arguably the oldest intellectual discipline, stemming as it does from the basic human need for understanding and it is easy to assume, being as we are constantly bombarded with information and ephemeral distractions, that the search for understanding and meaning in life is either complete or rendered irrelevant by the current culture of attaining meaning through consumption. This is patently not true. In fact, at a time when the doctrine of free market fundamentalism has been so catastrophically refuted and the British political elite so thoroughly discredited, it seems that the modern dichotomy between philosophy and the self-serving realpolitik of governance is increasingly untenable. It is this question of the role, or lack thereof, of philosophic enquiry in modern politics that has inspired me to study philosophy and politics. There are pertinent political questions, such as that of over population and climatic degradation, which require philosophical and ethical consideration as well as philosophical questions, such as those pertaining to the right to die and the medicalization of human mortality, that require political action. These questions, I feel, show the true relevance of studying both philosophy and politics. My secondary education was somewhat autodidactic having missed nearly 3 years of school due to illness, which is why I only have 3 GCSE’s, but I view this as being a disadvantage only in regards to having not attained the best possible qualifications. In terms of learning I feel I have gained at least as much from reading in my time out of school as I would have from sitting in lessons, in fact what instigated my interest in philosophy and politics is probably reading Huxley, Kafka and the like many years ago while off school ill. Studying English and Law at A-level have enabled me to write structured essays and to closely analyse texts as well as remember concepts and names pertaining to them which will certainly help in studying philosophy and politics. Also my current A-level in Sociology has helped me to critically analyse institutions, orthodoxies and power structures which I feel will be beneficial in studying philosophy and politics. Reading is a genuine passion of mine and I derive both pleasure and knowledge from it which is of course essential in the pursuit of any academic Degree and I feel that having read many books pertaining to politics, from Machiavelli’s The Prince to Chomsky’s Hegemony or Survival, and some on philosophy such as Schopenhauer’s On the Suffering of the World and John Gray’s writings on political philosophy, that I have an aptitude for the long term study philosophy and politics.Through studying philosophy and politics I hope to gain a better understanding of the facets of human nature and its place in political discourse as well as the inherent influence the two disciplines have on each other, the philosophical basis of political theory and the socio-political context of philosophical thought.

For me the examination of the human condition and the conditions in which humans exist has sparked the most fascinating cultivation and exchange of critical thought ever recorded. Further I would gamble my degree course on the notion that these fundamental questions regarding our actions as individuals and as a civilization will remain ongoing, simply because it is our duty as a species to search for our most basic truths.Having been originally ignited and fostered by my college debate club, my interest in philosophy has grown in tandem with an advancing dexterity to structure and express ideas. Aided by skills in logical and systematic thought resulting from my A-Level Business Studies course, this interest has since stretched beyond core texts and to the works of thinkers such as Baruch Spinoza and David Hume. I’ve particularly taken interest to Hume’s ‘A Treatise of Human Nature’, in which our motivations are questioned with the notion that passion rather than reason is the source of our moral actions. Self-examining challenges of this nature appeal strongly to my curiosity, as they carry the question of how or if someone can alter supposedly innate ideas, which in turn raises the question of free will. It’s my hope that degree level study will enhance my academic and personal understanding in areas such of depth and complexity.Other results of my pursuit into matters concerning the human condition have been the works of Machiavelli, Comte and Freud; the latter’s methodology in texts such as ‘The Interpretation of Dreams’ being of particular use in challenging and advancing my deductive reasoning. My A-Level Media Studies course has furthered my interest in the ‘Frankfurt School’, the members of which intrigued me in their attempts to effectively implement both social and philosophical theory whilst recognising the frequent connections between the two. Although I’m not in full agreement with sections of the Neo-Marxist thought to emerge from Frankfurt, Marcuse’s ‘false needs’ theory being one example, I believe that the notion of scholars uniting in the debate and reevaluation of ideas with the aim of social benefit sets an honourable ideology, one which I would be pleased to see my university studies follow.Whilst at college I also took part in enrichment activities such as learning first aid and writing for the college newspaper, as well as holding the position of advertising manager on my college’s young enterprise program. Despite not warming to the title of ‘Ad man’, benefit came from the role’s necessity to assess the needs and habits of our student consumers. Outside academia I donate some of my time to charitable causes such as ‘fun-runs’ and a reading mentor scheme at a local primary school, both of which have the advantage of being able to share in the experience with others. I also take an active interest in emerging arts, from frequenting independent cinemas and bookshops to holding subscriptions with locally produced literary magazines, some of which have reproduced my own short fiction. The above is chiefly born out of my adoration of literature, a passion which captivates me and has aided me in many of my studies. This passion however did me a disservice last year when it unfortunately invigorated my more cautious nature, the result being my decision to take a career-focused Journalism degree course instead of pursuing my philosophical and social fascinations into higher education. Despite my experience of university life thus far being one which has undoubtedly advanced me both academically and socially, I realise that I have made an error and am thus determined in seeking to swiftly correct it. In the mean time, I can only take some solace in the fact that Immanuel Kant was once caught in ‘dogmatic slumber’.哲學與社會學英文自傳編修︰修改英文中翻英履歷表翻譯︰英文履歷表

It seems a simple question, but you’re as likely to know the answer as you are to learn of the meaning of life. But that doesn’t mean we don’t try. When I applied for college, I took Psychology simply because I was curious, but now, it enthrals me; studying the different theories put forward as to why we do certain things, or why we don’t; delving into the minds of the depressed, the murderous or the deranged and generally trying to explain the things we do unconsciously, like conform. To what lengths can we know about ourselves and what we do? I want to know everything there is to know, to discover the answers, or understand the arguments and counter-arguments; to comprehend how our mind works and what purpose these functions have, or how we remember and recall; why we help or defend; how our mind can cause us illness. All these things are just a sample of what captivates me with Psychology, as well as reading the articles in ‘Psychology Review’, which I subscribed for this year.Along with Psychology, I wish to study Philosophy, which has fascinated me since my first lesson. I’ve always been criticised for looking too deeply into things rather then just accepting them, but Philosophy showed me that I’m not the first, and certainly won’t be the last, to do so. It is a lesson that’s different from the rest in that it teaches you how to think, not what to think. It gives you ideas of why we are here, or what brought us here. It spans several key areas including Theology, Politics and Biology. So, by studying one subject, other subjects are dealt with. It’s unique and severely underestimated. It’s a difficult subject, but one that allows your own personality to have access. This is why I think I’m a good applicant. I know I’m hardworking, and I’m definitely dedicated to this course. Moreover, there were numerous times during school where I was asked to help during certain activities, such as showing people around on open days or making speeches on awards evenings, therefore proving that I am responsible and reliable. Recently, I helped out at the college open evening for both Psychology and Philosophy, explaining to potential learners why I like the course and why they ought to consider taking it. I enjoy practical work and I did an experiment for my Psychology coursework, looking into the matching hypothesis, not long ago. This was fun and entertaining, and also involved great personal discipline and commitment to ensure it worked properly.Although individual work like this is almost second nature, I find teamwork to be a strongpoint, due to my part-time job at a hotel. This involves a great deal of cooperation, otherwise it would be impossible to do the job properly. Every person has a part to play, and if they didn’t do their job, the rest of the circle would fall apart. The same applies in any team. Everyone needs to be involved and work properly for the rest of the team to advance. This became obvious when participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Although extremely fun and rewarding, this required intense teamwork during the walks and the other sections involved dedication and hard work. These attributes can help whilst studying for the course. It is for these reasons that the Joint-Award interests me. With it, I want to take a career in Psychology. I want to help this discipline in some way, or at least to ensure that what we know already is used to benefit others. I want to learn a great deal of knowledge to be able to go into the world and use it to its full potential, either by helping expand our knowledge, use our awareness properly or, even, passing on the theories to new psychologists.
